
Very interesting piece from the good folks over at @JohnnyHolland. I think the psychology of gaming and game mechanics will continue to permeate (witness Foursquare) as we continue to look for challenge, surprise and acknowledgment (as we get better) from even the most mundane of digital interactions (widgets, webapps, brand messages). Good piece covering how to design for this world. My favorite subtitle “The Architecture of Fun”, classic.
